I started flying the ECO-8 in March 1998 as a beginner. Since then I have collected many information. Some own experiences, some mail and many e-mails.
If you ask me if the ECO-8 is a nice and valueable heli, I would say: Yes, of cource. Its a very nice helicopter if you know some important handling tricks.
It is possible to successfully fly the ECO as it comes from the stock. But you should have some experience in flying !
With the modifications described here the ECO-8 can be tuned into a stable and handy heli even for beginners. Even for experienced flyiers I would suggest these modifications because it save lot of work and disapointments and makes the ECO stable on the ground as well as in the air.
Those who do not want to do it are invited to read my flight diary. There you can see how much enthusiasm it takes to learn all the tricks. I got lot of E-mails of other pilots who did the same experiences before successfully getting the heli in the air.
